The steel used for conventional shaft bearings (including shafts, outer rings, steel balls and rollers) is high carbon chromium bearing steel (GCr15). Because the smelting of high-quality bearing steel is vacuum deoxidation and electromagnetic stirring, the oxide content is low. It can withstand large contact pressure stress and high variable tensile stress at the same time. After heat treatment, the shaft raceway hardness is 58-62HRC. The raceway hardness of the ring is 60-64HRC, and the hardness of the steel ball and roller is 61-65HRC. When the shaft and outer ring are made of carburized bearing steel, the raceway hardness is 60-64HRC. The cage material is usually reinforced nylon 66, and the sealing ring material is generally made of nitrile rubber. When the requirements are higher, fluororubber sealing rings can also be used.

Prevention of foreign bodies during assembly

When imported bearings are installed on rotors for dynamic balancing, it is easy for iron filings generated during dynamic balancing to enter the interior of imported bearings. Therefore, it is best to perform dynamic balancing before installing imported bearings. Some manufacturers apply some oil or grease to the imported bearing chamber for lubrication during assembly for the convenience of assembly, but it is often difficult for operators to control the amount. If there is a lot of oil or grease accumulated in the imported bearing chamber, it is easy to enter the interior of the INA imported bearing along the shaft when the water pump shaft connected to the imported bearing rotates. It is best not to apply oil or grease to the imported bearing chamber. If it is necessary to apply it, it must be controlled not to have accumulation in the imported bearing chamber.

Prevention of paint rust

The characteristic of paint rust is that it often occurs in sealed motors. The motor sounds very good during assembly, but after being stored in the warehouse for some time, the abnormal noise of the motor becomes very loud. The imported bearing connected to the water pump shaft is seriously rusted. In the past, many manufacturers would think that it was a problem with imported bearings. After our continuous publicity, the motor factory has realized that it is mainly a problem with insulating paint. This problem is mainly because the acidic substances volatilized from the insulating paint form corrosive substances under certain temperature and humidity, which corrode the imported bearing grooves and cause damage to the INA imported bearings. This problem can only be solved by selecting good insulating paint and assembling it after drying and ventilation for a period of time.

Selection and control of the tolerance of the shaft and imported bearing chamber

After the imported bearing of the water pump shaft is pressed into the imported bearing, it should rotate flexibly without any sense of resistance. If there is obvious inflexibility in rotation, it means that the size of the shaft is too large and the tolerance should be lowered. If the imported bearing of the water pump shaft is pressed into the shaft and there is an obvious "sand" feeling when it is turned by hand, it may be that the tolerance of the shaft is too large or the roundness of the shaft is not good. Therefore, when controlling the tolerance of the shaft and the imported bearing chamber, the roundness must also be controlled. Many domestic manufacturers only control the tolerance but not the roundness.

Assembly method of imported bearings

Because imported bearings are high-precision products, if the water pump shaft is improperly assembled, it is easy to damage the imported bearing groove of the water pump shaft, resulting in damage to the INA imported bearing. Imported bearings should be assembled with special molds and cannot be knocked at will. When pressing into the shaft, only the small circle can bear force; when pressing the large circle, only the large circle can bear force. When assembling, air pressure or hydraulic pressure is required. When pressing, the upper and lower touches should be in a horizontal state. If there is any tilt, the imported bearing groove will be damaged due to force, which will cause the imported bearing to produce a guide sound.
